Connect in 1 click

Bridge your BusinessMCP threads to Slack. Agents can post milestone updates, summarize support queues, and pull context from channels — all with per-channel scopes.

Just say it in a thread

No configs, no docs. Once connected, these are the kinds of messages your agents act on.

"Summarize what happened in #support today and flag anything that sounds like a churn risk."

"Post this week's metrics recap to #general, formatted with bullet points — show me the draft first."

"Catch me up on #engineering since Friday — what shipped and what broke?"

"Remind me in #sales tomorrow at 9am to follow up with the Acme trial."

"Read the last 50 messages in #product-feedback and pull out the top three feature requests."

"Draft an incident update and post it to #status-updates once I approve it."

"What decisions were made in #leadership this week? Give me a bullet summary."

"Set a reminder in #launch to update the changelog before Thursday's release."

"Summarize the customer complaints mentioned in #support this week, grouped by theme."

Frequently asked questions

Which channels can the agent actually read?

Only channels the bot is a member of. Public channels require the bot to be added (or invited via /invite @bot), and private channels always require an explicit invite — membership plus the granted read scopes is the boundary, so you control visibility channel by channel.

Why does posting fail with a not_in_channel error?

The bot has to be in a channel before it can post there. Run /invite @yourbot in the target channel (or add it from the channel settings) and retry — no reconnection needed.

Can it read my direct messages?

No. DMs and group DMs are outside the granted scopes; the agent only sees channels it has been invited into. Your private conversations are never part of its context.

Will the bot post to Slack without approval?

Messages are only posted when you ask for them, and you can keep a review step in the loop by asking for a draft first. Nothing is scheduled or sent autonomously.

How far back can channel summaries go?

As far as your workspace retains history and the bot has been a member — on free Slack plans, messages older than 90 days are not retrievable, which is a Slack limit rather than an MCP one.
